PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing case for a rolled cylindrical body, which makes prevention of the rolled cylindrical body from jumping out of a housing space with facilitaty of the takeout of the cylindrical body in harmony. SOLUTION: The case has a bottom board whose depth is Wa, and a rear board 3 whose width is Wb. The cylindrical body has a core whose width is Wc, inner diameter is D, and thickness is t. The case also comprises a support member, whose width between folding lines is S and maximum width is L, and a window whose maximum height is H1. The case is formed to satisfy the following equations 1-4: 0.82 Wa<(D+2t)<Wa; 0.4≤L/D≤0.7; 0.5≤S/L≤1, (Wb-Wc)≤H1≤2(Wb-Wc); and (Wb-Wc)≤H1≤2(Wb-Wc). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
