PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step device capable of facilitating mounting and dismounting work, having a wide step, and being convenient for ascent and descent. SOLUTION: This step device for inspection by ascending on and descending from an upper part turn body of construction machinery is provided with a mounting fitting fixed to a frame of the upper part turn body and the step engaged detachably with the mounting fitting and having a fixable mounting part.
