PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and cleanly remove meat chips deposited on a round cutter of a meat slicer. SOLUTION: A scraper 26 for scraping the meat chips and an injection hole 29 for injecting washing water are provided on cutter cleaning heads 21, 22 disposed on a front surface side and a back surface side of the round cutter 13. When a slice work is carried out, the respective cutter cleaning heads 21, 22 are moved to a position far from the round cutter 13 and does not obstruct a slice work. When a cleaning work of the round cutter 13 is carried out, the scrapers 26 of the respective cutter cleaning heads 21, 22 are moved to a cutter cleaning position where they are abutted on the round cutter 13. Thereby, scraping of the meat chip by the scrapers 26 and the injection of washing water from the injection hole 29 to the round cutter 13 are realized. In the state where a meat box is stopped, while the round cutter 13 is rotated and the meat chips deposited on the round cutter 13 is scraped by the scrapers 26, it is washed off by washing water injected from the injection hole 29.
