PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely classify contaminated substance along with fine grains in classification and cleaning of contaminated soil and prevent the contaminated substance from mixing into coarse particles. SOLUTION: The treatment system 201 for the contaminated soil is constituted of a device 101 for separating and removing the contaminated substance which comprises a device 104 for forming muddy water and a device 1 for classifying the muddy water, a solid-liquid separation facility 202 for solid-liquid separating the muddy water whose coarse particles are classified and removed by the device 1 for classifying the muddy water, and a water treatment device 203 for separating and removing the contaminated substance contained in the water separated by the solid-liquid separation facility 202. The device 1 for classifying the muddy water is provided with a raw water container, a vibrating and sieving mechanism, and first and second cyclones. In the vibrating and sieving mechanism, 3 screens, a plate for receiving the muddy water and another screen are arranged in stages from below in sequence.
