PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for hair, having excellent hair-growing effect and imparting the hair with springiness and stiffness. SOLUTION: This composition for hair contains an N-acylamino acid and a basic amino acid at a molar ratio of 1:(0.1-0.8) based on the N-acylamino acid.
