PURPOSE: A credit information processing method and apparatus of a mobile communication terminal are provided to obtain an authentication by inputting a PIN(Personal Identification Number) assigned to a credit card user through a mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: When a specific function key of a key pad performs a mode setting input for paying through a credit card(S100), a PIN is inputted by manipulating the key pad(S102). A control module compares the inputted number with a user PIN stored in a credit information processing module to determine whether authentication is made successful(S104). If the authentication is made successful, the control module records particulars about the authentication success in a PIN authentication applet of the credit information processing module(S112). As the credit card paying is allowed through a control communication with the credit information processing module(S114), the control module transmits card information of a credit card together with the authentication success result information to a radio signal connector through a wireless antenna(S116).
