<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a difference image consistent in the display form of a shadow on the difference image by generating the consistent difference image about the difference image generated from between images where the positive/negative of an image are not unified. <P>SOLUTION: The file of a present image and a past image including information showing about whether an image is a positive image or negative image is input to an image input part. The image input part outputs image data to a difference processing part, extracts negative/positive information in the past image and the present image, and inputs a judgement signal SO to a control part. A shadow definition input part inputs correspondence relation between the shadow on the difference image and judgement reference on diagnosis. With respect to getting worse or better a lesion on image diagnosis, shadow definition regulates which of high density (high luminance level) or low density (low luminance level) it corresponds to on the difference image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
