<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a summed-up result of charging information or the like summed up under an appropriate condition corresponding to the need of a user under an environment where two or more pieces of document equipment connected on a network are shared among a PC group. <P>SOLUTION: In a network system in which a plurality of devices 1 having a document processing function, a plurality of clients 2 instructing the execution of a required job to the devices and a server 3 are connected on the network, the server is provided with a gathering and recording part 4 for gathering information relating to the job executed by the device from the device and recording it as job data, and a sum-up processing part 5 for executing a sum-up processing according to a sum-up condition specified in the client on the basis of the job data.
