PURPOSE: An audio signal outputting method of a mobile terminal is provided to output a corresponding audio signal according to set conditions for outputting an audio signal for a specific service connection, in opening a folder, when a specific time arrives, when a power-on key is manipulated, or the like. CONSTITUTION: When a user requests a connection to a specific service(S401), a control module checks whether certain audio data has been set to be outputted when the corresponding service is connected(S402). If no audio data has been set for the connection to the corresponding service, the control module controls to perform an operation routine corresponding to the service connection(S406). If certain audio data has been set for connection to the corresponding service, the control module controls to read the audio data from a nonvolatile memory and output it to a speaker(S407). The control module checks whether the connection with the requested specific service has been completed(S404). If the connection with the requested specific service has been completed, the control module controls to terminate current output of the audio data(S405) and controls to perform an operation routine corresponding to the service connection(S406). When the user requests a connection termination of the corresponding service, the corresponding service is terminated(S407).
