PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach and fix a cover member to a reel body by an inexpensive constitution in a reel body of a spinning reel. SOLUTION: In the reel body 2 of a spinning reel, a pedestal member 70 is fixed by a screw member 71 in the direction in which a body member 2a of a cover part 35 of a lid member 2b formed by a mold forming and the lid member 2b are attached or separated, namely in a drawing direction of mold forming. In this state, the lid member 2b is attached to the body member 2a to which various mechanisms are installed and a cover member 38 is attached to the lower part of the rear surface of the reel body 2. Then, the cover member 38 is fixed to the body member 2a by a screw member 72 in the direction crossing with a direction in which the body member 2a of the pedestal member 70 and the lid member 2b are contacted and separated, namely in the direction crossing with a drawing direction of mold forming.
