<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing an existing pipe, capable of ensuring a desired flow rate by preventing the occurrence of the buckling of a resin pipe at a bent part even in an elbow pipe wherein the bent part of the existing pipe is right-angled. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for repairing the existing pipe by inserting the resin pipe 1 held to a heated and softened state into the existing pipe P having the bent part E to cool and cure the same, a hard pig 2 is inserted into the resin pipe 1, which is held to the heated and softened state, inserted into the existing pipe P. Then, both of the hard pig 2 and the resin pipe 1 are moved to the other lateral part of the bent part E until the hard pig 2 is positioned at the bent part E and the resin pipe 1 is cooled and cured in such a state that the hard pig 2 is positioned at the bent part E. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
