<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the checking for the failure of the display control means in receiving the display control command being transmitted thereto from the game control means. <P>SOLUTION: The time of varying the figures passes and when the display control means confirms that the defining command non-reception flag (indicating that the defining command is not received) is ON (step S882), a CPU 401 for display control sets an oscillating operation indication flag for the corresponding drum if the provisional figure use flag(indicating that the display control command for designating the stop figures is not received) is set (step S893).
