<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for easily processing a carbon nanotube without deteriorating its characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The gel composition comprising the carbon nanotube and an ionic liquid is prepared by fragmenting the carbon nanotube by applying shear force in the presence of the ionic liquid and, if required, subsequently centrifuging the product. The gel composition is excellent in processibility and therefore can be processed by simply applying external force to achieve a fluid state, forming it into a predetermined shape through means such as printing, application, extrusion and injection and subsequently removing the ionic liquid with a solvent or an absorber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
