PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slope-descending speed control device that shows enhanced controllability when a vehicle travels on a downhill road.

SOLUTION: A target speed setting switch 50A capable of switching and setting the target speed is provided, and a controller 100 controls the braking quantity so that the actual vehicle speed is matched with the target slope-descending speed set by the target speed setting switch. A slope-descending inclined angle setting switch 50B capable of switching and setting the angle of inclination of a downhill road, and a loading quantity setting switch 50C capable of switching and setting the loading quantity of a vehicle are provided. The braking quantity is controlled by changing the control constant of a PID operating means 130 to the difference between the target speed and the actual speed according to the set angle of inclination and the set loading quantity.
