DATA INPUT DEVICE AND DATA INPUT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data input device and a data input method, allowing easy input of a numerical value.

SOLUTION: An instruction for increasing the numerical value is inputted by depressing a '2' button, and an instruction for decreasing the numerical value is inputted by depressing a '8' button. One process of an increment process using an increment amount according to length of a time during which the '2' button is continuously depressed and a decrement process according to a decrement amount according to length of a time during which the '8' button is continuously depressed is executed to decide the inputted numerical value.
