<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for more simply preparing water for removing dioxins and removing dioxins using the water. <P>SOLUTION: Water is made to pass through a vessel 12 through which obsidian 10 has been previously made to pass. The water is put into a water tank 18 and a solid matter 28 to be treated containing dioxins is laid in the water in the water tank 18.
