摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein an excess reactivity is increased in a reactor core of a nuclear reactor having an increased average enrichment of initially loaded fuel in order to enhance remarkably economy by increasing a discharged burnup to use the fuel effectively, and to control the excess reactivity within a proper range. SOLUTION: In this reactor core for the nuclear reactor arranged with a large number of cells constituted of one control rod and four fuel assemblies surrounding therearound in a square lattice shape, the initially loaded fuel assemblies comprising two or more kinds of different enrichments are loaded, and initially loaded fuel assemblies of the highest enrichment are constituted of two kinds or more different in the number of fuel rods containing a burnable poison at least in a most portion except upper and lower ends.
