PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production device for solidified grinding sludge which prevents intrusion of grinding liquid to a slide guide part of a guide member, consistently maintains an adequate space between contact surfaces of a gate and a die and smooth motion of the gate, and enables consistent operation for a long time. SOLUTION: The production device for solidified grinding sludge comprises a cylindrical die 1 with grinding sludge filled therein, a gate 2, a piston 3, a guide member 4, and a blocking means 5. The gate 2 opens/closes an outlet 1a at an end portion of the cylindrical die 1. The piston 3 is provided in the cylindrical die 1 in an advancing/retractable manner to squeeze the grinding sludge in the die. The guide member 4 guides the gate 2 slidably along an end face of the cylindrical die 1 at both side parts. The blocking means 5 is positioned between the guide member 4 and the outlet 1a of the cylindrical die 1 to stop the fluid flow streaming down an outer peripheral surface of the gate 2 toward the guide member 4 side.
