PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the hygroscopic property of the forefoot and the cushioning property of the heel, and to reduce the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This insole includes: a surface sheet material 2 extended from the metatarsus section to the heel and having water permeability; a first back sheet material 3 disposed in the metatarsus section on the backside thereof and having hygroscopic property; a second back sheet material 4 extended from the metatarsus section to the heel on the backside of the surface sheet material 2, disposed with the front edge 4e adjacent to the rear edge 3e of the first back sheet material 3 in the longitudinal direction and having cushioning property; and a third back sheet material 5 disposed in the metatarsus section on the backside of the respective back sheet materials 3, 4, disposed to overlap the rear edge 3e of the first back sheet material 3 and the front edge 4e of the second back sheet material 4 and harder than the second back sheet material 4.
