PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively treat hair by storing a larger blower while making the whole device thinner and evenly supplying minus ions with a large quantity of air in a hair treatment device with an ion generator, a heating block and a fan unit disposed inside a casing of one clasping arm. SOLUTION: The hair treatment device has a pair of clasping arms 2 and 3 connected to oscillate to be opened/closed, and the heating block 5, the fan unit 9 and the ion generator 10 are disposed inside the casing 8 in the first clasping arm 1. The heating block 5 and the ion generator 10, adjacent to each other up and down, are disposed on the oscillating end side inside the casing 8. In addition, a knot-like overhang part 22 is formed to swell on the lower side of the casing 8, and the fan unit 9 is disposed inside the overhang part 22. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
