PURPOSE: A microwave oven with a toaster is provided to prevent users from receiving an electric shock by a heat-transferring device in a toaster case even if the microwave oven is burnt down. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven with a toaster(400) is composed of an electric chamber mounted to the side of a body and installed with various electric parts supplying microwaves into a cavity; the toaster including a heater assembly(450) installed to the front of the electric chamber to bake breads therein and a tray assembly(460) for drawing in and out the breads; a toaster case(410) disposed to an inner space between the heater assembly and the tray assembly; a front cover(441) for forming the front side of a toaster door(440) installed to the opened front side of the toaster case and made from heat-resisting plastic; the toaster door for opening and closing the opening unit of the front cover; and a protector(442) made from heat-insulating materials and installed to the rear side of the toaster door to cover the opening unit of the front cover. The protector prevents bodies of users from being inserted into the toaster case and receiving an electric shock even if the microwave oven is burnt down by a fire. |
