PURPOSE: An engine cover for a bus is provided to increase worker's convenience and improve marketability of the bus by installing the engine cover, to be assembled and disassembled by the adsorption force of air, to a floor panel of the room of the bus and easily opening and shutting the engine cover without an additional tool to check out an engine in the room of the bus. CONSTITUTION: An engine cover(200) for a bus is formed by layering a mat(210), a panel(250), a soundproof material(220), and a thermal insulation material(230). The engine cover opens and shuts a part of a floor panel(100) of the bus. The engine cover comprises a valve handle(300) to the lower part of which the upper end of a wire is fastened, to be housed in a fixing groove formed to the upper side; an air pipe(500) disposed to the lower side of the valve handle and protruded on the lower surface of the engine cover; an air valve(600) hingably fastened to a side of the upper end of the air pipe; and an adsorption part(700) comprising a weather strip(710) formed around the lower periphery of the engine cover with a doughnut-shaped section, a vent(721) formed between an air chamber(720) and the weather strip, and plural adsorption plates(730) connected to the lower end of the air chamber. The air chamber connected to the lower end of the air pipe is formed to the middle of the weather strip.
