INONOTUS OBLIQUUS EXTRACT HAVING ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY AND LIPID METABOLISM IMPROVING EFFECT, EXTRACTION THEREOF AND USE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A water extract of mushroom such as Fuscoporia obliqua, Fuscoporia punctata or Inonotus obliquus having effects of increasing antioxidant activity and reducing free radical is provided. It can be used as an antioxidant and a pharmaceutical composition and health supplementary foods effective for prevention and treatment of disorders of lipid metabolism. CONSTITUTION: A mushroom selected from Fuscoporia obliqua, Fuscoporia punctata and Inonotus obliquus is added about 1 to 1,000 times with water, extracted for 1min to 10 days while agitating and centrifuged. The precipitate is dispersed in lower alcohol 1 to 1,000 times by volume that of the precipitate by weight, centrifuged and concentrated under reduced pressure, followed by purifying with the same amount of an organic solvent. The effective daily amount of the mushroom extract is 0.1 and 100 mg/day.
