PURPOSE: A structure for improving the sensitivity of a second thermostat of an engine separation-cooling system is provided to smoothly operate the second thermostat by effectively sensing the temperature of coolant of a cylinder block leaking out through a leakage hole even if reducing the size of the leakage hole to increase the separation-cooling performance. CONSTITUTION: In a second thermostat(20) comprising a cut-off plate(28) formed at the opposite side to a leakage hole(22a) to connect lower frames(23) in a semi-cylinder form and a heat transferring member extended from a coolant passage of a cylinder block(11) into a pallet(25), a structure for improving the sensitivity of the second thermostat of an engine separation-cooling system positions the cut-off plate to the upper part near the coolant combining spot with the coolant of a cylinder head(12) and mounts the leakage hole to a coolant outlet of the cylinder block to position at the lower part far from the coolant combining spot.
