PURPOSE: A steer by wire steering reaction force attainment device is provided to attain steering reaction force of large torque by controlling a driving motor not needing a change of size according to the driver's steering wheel operation speed. CONSTITUTION: A steer by wire steering reaction force attainment device comprises a steering wheel(10); a steering wheel column(11) supporting the steering wheel; a module housing(12) covering the steering wheel column; a steering angle detection sensor(12-1) disposed to the steering wheel column, to detect a steering angle, varying according to the operation of the steering wheel by a driver, according to a change in the rotation of the steering wheel column; a first gear(12-2) fitted to the upper end of the steering wheel column around the steering angle detection sensor, to rotate according to the operation of the steering wheel by the driver; a fixed member(12-3) fixed to the inside of the module housing; a second gear(12-4) fitted into the fixed member, with a smaller diameter than the diameter of the first gear, to interlock and rotate according to the rotation of the first gear; a control unit(30) receiving the steering angle output from the steering angle detection sensor and a change of the vehicle speed varying according to a change of the vehicle movement state and outputting a steering reaction force attainment signal by a set program; and a driving unit(12-5) disposed to the lower end of the steering wheel column around the steering angle detection sensor, to control the steering reaction force according to the steering reaction force signal output from the control unit.
