SUPPORT GRID HAVING TWISTED MIXER BLADE FOR MIXING COOLANT OF REACTOR SUBCHANNEL

PURPOSE: A support grid is provided to achieve improved efficiency of heat transfer between the coolant and nuclear fuel rod, while reducing pressure losses by allowing for a smooth flow of coolant. CONSTITUTION: A support grid comprises a plurality of grids(30) constituted by a plurality of unit grids(10) and arranged in vertical and horizontal directions; and a plurality of fuel rod cells arranged in the support grid so as to support nuclear fuel rods. Each of the unit grids has a pair of twisted coolant mixer blades(20) extended from the top of each unit grid and bent in opposite directions. Each of the mixer blades has an end which is twisted with respect to the line parallel to the top edge lines of each of unit grids.
