摘要 PURPOSE: A ship engine control system is provided to flexibly cope with various operation conditions when a breakdown of a ship engine occurs and to improve reliability. CONSTITUTION: A ship engine control system(1) includes a remote control unit(18) operating by an operator and outputting a command signal; an operation state detector(10) detecting an operation state of the engine and outputting an operation state display signal; and a main unit(12) making out a main command on the basis of the command signal and the operation state display signal, and controlling the engine according to the main command. Auxiliary units and fuel supply devices for each cylinder(4) of the engine are installed. Each auxiliary unit(14) calculates operating timing on the basis of the operation state display signal and the main command and delivers an operating timing command corresponding to the calculated operating timing. Each fuel supply device supplies fuel to the corresponding cylinder according to the operating timing command. An auxiliary remote controller(20) is installed to a position remote from the remote control unit. The auxiliary remote controller delivers a first auxiliary command signal to the main unit and delivers a second auxiliary command signal to each auxiliary unit. The main unit delivers a main signal on the basis of the first auxiliary command signal and the operations state display signal and each auxiliary unit delivers the operating timing command on the basis of the second auxiliary command signal and the operation state display signal.
