METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DECIDING/USING OSC OF WRITING CURRENT FOR OPTIMIZED HAED WRITE CONTROL ON ASSEMBLED DISC DRIVE

PURPOSE: A method and a device for deciding/using the OSC(OverShoot Control) of the writing current for the optimized head write control on an assembled disc drive is provided to decide the optimized head write parameters, to improve the reliability of a hard disk on a self-test phase of the assemble disc drive. CONSTITUTION: A recorder is involved in the disc drive, and is equipped with a read-write head(200) communication with a rotated disc surface, a transposition amplifier(224) connected to the read-write head, and a channel interface(222) connected to the transposition amplifier. The OSC collection includes the optimal OSC, the minimum OSC, and the maximum OSC.
