PURPOSE: A metal sheet pile is provided to improve the section of the metal sheet pile, and to increase the productivity of the metal sheet pile by increasing the effective width more than 700 mm. CONSTITUTION: A metal sheet pile is composed of a flange(2), a couple of webs(3) arranged symmetrically to each other with a line, and connected to the opposed ends of the flange, a couple of arms(4) connected to the other ends of the webs and arranged in parallel with the flange, and a couple of joints(5) connected to the ends of the arms. An effective width(B) of the metal sheet pile is within the range of 700 to 1200, and the width of the flange is more than 280. The width of the flange is less than value of 0.0005*B¬2 - 0.05*B. The height of the metal sheet pile is within the range of value of -0.073*B + 0.0043*I(the area moment of inertia) + 230 to 380.
