WIRELESS IMAGE TRANSMISSION ERROR TESTING SYSTEM AND METHOD

PURPOSE: A wireless image transmission error testing system and method are provided to effectively perform a real time or non-real time image transmission error testing by providing error environments similar to various radio channel error environments. CONSTITUTION: A user sets an input mode of a testing environment parameter and selects a wireless transmission network mode(S301,S302). If the user selects a wireless packet network mode, the user inputs an average size of single radio packets(S304). The user inputs a bit error limit value for packet discarding(S305). The user inputs a bit error rate(S306). The user inputs the average number of burst error bits and a bit error rate in a burst error section(S307). The user inputs a bit transmission rate(S308). The user releases the testing environment parameter input mode(S309) and downloads the testing environment parameters to a digital signal processor(S310). The user can set a timer(S311,S312). When the pre-set timer is started or a testing start command is issued through a user interface(S313), the testing start command is transmitted to the digital signal processor and a testing is performed(S314). When the user sets a testing termination or a pre-set timing is terminated(S315), a testing termination command is transmitted to the digital signal processor and the testing is terminated(S316).
