<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically change a frequency channel to appropriate one. <P>SOLUTION: In communication equipment, communication is made by using one channel selected from a plurality of channels whose frequency bands are overlapped. It is judged whether the channel in the middle of use is to be changed or not. When the used channel is judged to be changed, another one channel is selected from a plurality of the channels as a channel after a change. A present communication opposite party of information showing the selected channels is informed.
