<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a session relaying apparatus for detecting start and end of communication so as to prevent delay in packet relaying in the peer to peer communication capable of setting a policy. <P>SOLUTION: The session relaying apparatus for relaying a session control message for controlling the peer to peer communication transmitted / received between communication terminals is configured such that the apparatus detects the start and end of the communication on the basis of a session control message, acquires identification information of a session and information with respect to the peer to peer communication performed on the session, when a policy generation section generates the policy denoting relay control processing, the session relaying apparatus searches an edge node through which the packet passes and distributes the policy to the searched edge node, sets the policy to the edge node accommodating the communication terminal at the start of communication and releases the policy setting at the end of communication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
