<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with high visibility, with which a natural gray scale is reproduced when viewed from an oblique direction in the same way as viewed from the front side. <P>SOLUTION: The display device 10 is provided with an anisotropic scattering film 14 with an anisotropic scattering property so as to average relations between normalized input signals and normalized output luminance values at respective viewing angles within a specified viewing angle range so as to cover the display surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
