摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic clutch controller capable of appropriately changing a connection speed and a disconnection speed of a clutch in response to a running state of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic clutch controller selects a normal mode when road friction coefficient at a disconnection starting time (time t1) is 0.3 or higher, a slight low-speed mode when the coefficient is lower than 0.3 and not lower than 0.1, or a low-speed mode when the coefficient is lower than 0.1. At the time t1, the controller selects the normal mode when vehicle stabilizing control such as traction control is not performed, or the low-speed mode when the vehicle stabilizing control is performed. At the time t1, the controller selects a high-speed mode when the vehicle is in a sports running mode, or the normal mode when the vehicle is not in the sports running mode. In the automatic clutch connecting/disconnecting control by an actuator for connecting/disconnecting the clutch when the gear shift control is performed, the connection of the clutch is performed at a speed corresponding to the selected mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
