PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rechargeable moving toy charger capable of being also used as a display base, and transferring the rechargeable moving toy to a usage condition immediately after the completion of charging. SOLUTION: This charging device 1 comprises a base 2 having an inner space with a charging circuit disposed between a bottom wall 5 and an upper wall 7, a pair of charging poles 31 fixed to the base 2 and disposed so as to be accessed from the surface side of the upper wall 7, engagement protrusion pieces 53, 55, and 57 which are provided at the upper wall 7 and engaged with a part of the rechargeable moving toy for positioning the rechargeable moving toy, and a charge selection structure 90. The charge selection structure 90 stops the charging of the rechargeable moving toy at the time of displaying, and constituted so that a pair of the charging poles 31 and a pair of charged poles 83 are electrically connected to be charged only at the time of charging the rechargeable moving toy.
