PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent effluence of liquid from a liquid storage means to a waste liquid storage means even upon upset of a liquid ejector. SOLUTION: An ink cartridge 14 is provided with an upper cover 26 and the inside of the inner frame section 34 of the upper cover 26 is sectioned by a wall part 38 to a groove 39 and a waste ink storage section 41. A waste ink absorbing member 27 is contained in the waste ink storage section 41 and the inner frame section 34 is sealed by means of a film 28 under that state thus forming a channel and a waste ink storage chamber. In such an upper cover 26, opening of a lower cover 31 is sealed while containing an ink pack 29 thus forming an ink cartridge 14. The ink pack 29 is located in the ink cartridge 14 such that some part of the channel becomes higher than the ink liquid level in an ink bag 46 without fail even if the orientation of the ink cartridge 14 is altered variously such that any surface of the lower cover 31 becomes the lower surface.
