PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a quick cooling function of a cooling cooking compartment in a refrigerator having the cooling cooking compartment. SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprises a refrigerator compartment evaporator 5 for cooling a refrigerator compartment 1 and a vegetable compartment 2, a freezer compartment evaporator 6 for cooling a freezer compartment 4 and the cooling cooking compartment 3, and a cooling plate 22 mounted at a lower part of the cooling cooking compartment 3, when the quick cooling command is given to the cooling cooking compartment 3, the operation is performed by switching a channel selector valve 9 to obtain the flow from the cooling plate 22 to the freezer compartment evaporator 6, the power is supplied to a thermoelectric module 22c mounted in the cooling plate 22, and high quick cooling performance can be achieved by cooling the food in the cooling cooking compartment 3 by both of solid heat transfer from the cooling plate 22 and cold air produced by the freezer compartment evaporator 6.
