PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-operated cutter in which storage of chips on a material to be cut is suppressed by using a wind of a fan without increasing the number of components and which can improve workability. SOLUTION: The motor-operated cutter includes a saw cover 4 having slopes 4e, 4f inclined so as to guide the wind 13 of the fan 7, generated by rotating the fan 7 near an opening 5a of a base 5.
