PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inkjet recorder in which double-sided printing is carried out to save resources and high image quality is attained on both surfaces. SOLUTION: Recording heads 70C, 70M, 70Y and 70B having cross-sectional area of 10-600μm<SP>2</SP>are elongated to cover the print width of a recording medium Pa and recording is performed by carrying the recording medium Pa to a position facing the nozzle surface of a recording head block 72 which ejects ink, on demand, at a frequency of several kHz to 40 kHz per nozzle. The recording medium Pa is produced by coating the upper and lower surfaces of a basic material with a particulate material and filling the gap between the constitutive materials of the basic material with the particulate material in order to eliminate unevenness of the constitutive materials. Furthermore, a double-sided print carrying passage 93 carries the nonprint surface of the printed recording medium Pa again to a print section. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
