PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an index type revolving table device wherein fine control is realized by making the displacement of an abutting member to a stopper piece for positioning, smaller than the displacement of lead of an ordinary control screw. SOLUTION: A first and second stopper pieces 21a, 21b mounted on a base 2 and a first and second positioning means 22a, 22b provided on the lower surface of the revolving table 10 to abut on the stopper pieces to position the revolving table 10 in a designated position are composed of an abutting member 24 provided on the revolving table side and including an abutting surface 24a abutting on the stopper pieces and a screw means 25 for pressing the abutting member 24 toward the stopper piece in a position eccentric to a support shaft 23. The abutting surface 24 is formed like a projected curved surface to gradually approach the stopper piece as an adjust screw 25a moves forward. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
