PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary management system for treating water in a pool/bath wherein a sterilizing method is established without a harmful effect of sodium hypochlorite, and also wherein a Ligionella disease is exterminated by continuously removing slime which is to be a hotbed of various disease germs. SOLUTION: In this system, the flocculation and decomposition efficiency are improved by neutralizing and separating oil and fat by using, in various places, a strongly alkaline electrolytic water and a strongly acidic electrolytic water produced by electrolysis of brine. A harmful effect of chlorine is avoided by using the strongly acidic electrolytic water together with sodium hypochlorite, and a sterilizing effect of hypochlorous acid is remarkably improved. The system is maintenance free since the separation process of oil and fat as well as the sterilizing process is all program controlled. A method is established for removing the slime accumulated in an overflow recovery tank and on a filter medium in a filter tank using aeration and the strongly alkaline electrolytic water. The sanitary management system for the whole pool/bath facility is made possible by systematizing a method wherein, for example, the hands and feet are washed before swimming/bathing at the waterside by providing two types of washing tanks using the electrolytic water and the like.
