PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave guide for ultrasonic sensor having the throttling and directivity selection function for ultrasonic weaves sent/received at a sent/received wave end of a wave sending/receiving device for alternately changing over the wave sending function and wave receiving function of a wave sending device or a wave receiving device and an ultrasonic vibrator. SOLUTION: The wave guide to be used for ultrasonic sensor comprises a circuit housing part which housed at least one of an ultrasonic wave generating circuit and an ultrasonic wave receiving/judging circuit and the ultrasonic vibrator which is fixed to the tip face of the circuit housing part and occupies a tip position by being connected electrically to the ultrasonic wave signal input/output end of the housed circuit. The front of the ultrasonic vibrator is surrounded by a root part 7 which can be fixed to the tip of the ultrasonic sensor. A non-elastic, flexible tube 6a which has a bore smaller than the effective area of the front and protrudes coaxially from the root part is provided, and a beveled cut end 6b is formed at the tip.
