PURPOSE: A safety device of a process for inspecting the lower part of a vehicle body is provided to inspect the lower part of the vehicle body in a state of separating a worker and the lower part of the vehicle body and safely protect the worker from a superheat of the lower part of the vehicle body and from oil leakage. CONSTITUTION: For a process for inspecting the lower part(9) of a vehicle body, a pit(3) is formed at the floor(1) of a workshop and guides(5) are formed to the sides of the pit. In the process for inspecting the lower part of the vehicle body, a worker inspect the lower part of the vehicle body with the naked eye in the pit by illuminating the lower part of the vehicle body with lighting. A safety device of the process for inspecting the lower part of the vehicle body comprises rail blocks(11) each installed to the upper parts of both sides of the pit, and a transparent member(13) both ends of which are installed to the rail blocks through a rolling unit. One side of the guide is opened and lighting is installed to the inside of the guide, to illuminate the lower part of the vehicle body.
