PURPOSE: A framework type end shield stiffening structure for a single induction motor is provided to reduce damage and vibration noise due to the abrasion of a stator by maintaining constantly air gap between the stator and a rotor. CONSTITUTION: A single induction motor comprises a stator, an end shield(121) coupled to a front face and a rear face of the stator for forming an accommodating space, a rotor inserted into the center of the stator, a centrifugal switch for driving an operating switch, and a rotating axis. The end shield includes a bearing resting unit(122) having a bearing for fixing rotatably the rotating axis, a plurality of legs(123) fixed to the stator by being bent around the bearing resting unit, and a stiffening bar(128) for connecting neighboring two legs.
