PURPOSE: A device for locking an actuator of an HDD(Hard Disk Drive) by using a solenoid is provided to offer larger latch force and prevent latch breakage caused by repeated locking/releasing operations by locking/releasing an actuator using the solenoid. CONSTITUTION: A core parking groove(170) leaks the magnetic force of magnets(153,154) by installing to a surface of one yoke from an upper and a lower yoke(151,152) of a VCM(Voice Coil Motor)(150) having more than one magnet. A solenoid latch(160) is installed to one surface of a VCM coil(156) joined to an arm(146) of an actuator(140) and facing to the core parking groove. The solenoid latch includes a solenoid housing(162), a solenoid coil(166) winding around a solenoid housing and connected to the VCM coil, and a solenoid core(164) installed to the solenoid housing and performing upward/downward movement.
