PURPOSE: Provided is a bi-axially oriented porous polyester film, which has different surface properties on the top surface and the back surface thereof, is stable to ultraviolet light, and is useful in printing, imaging, advertising and displaying. CONSTITUTION: The bi-axially oriented porous polyester film comprises a tri-layer structure composed of a glossy layer(A layer) having a surface brightness at 60 degrees of 100% or more, a layer(B layer) containing 3-30 wt% of thermoplastic resin incompatible with polyester resin, 5-30 wt% of inorganic particles and 0.005-0.5 wt% of fluorescent dye, and a mat layer(C layer) having a surface brightness at 60 degrees of 50% or less, wherein at least one of the above layers contains 0.01-5 wt% of ultraviolet stabilizer.
