FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to freight vehicles and it is designed for converting electric control signals transmitted to each unit into compressed air pressure in brake cylinders. Proposed electropneumatic brake has brake main line, pneumatic air distributor, reservoir, electromagnetic brake cock with valve and electromagnetic brake release cock with valve. Pneumatic air distributor is connected through channels with brake cylinder and brake main line. Electromagnetic brake cock is connected through channel with brake main line. Electromagnetic brake release cock is connected through channel with reservoir and through channels with brake main line. Reservoir communicates with brake main line through check valve. Invention provides dispensing with feed main line of freight vehicle equipped with electropneumatic brake and additional intercar connecting pipelines.
