<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous secondary battery which prevents discharge capacity deterioration caused by overdischarging. <P>SOLUTION: The non-aqueous secondary battery comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and a non-aqueous electrolyte, where the negative electrode includes a negative-electrode current collector, a negative-electrode active material coating section coated with a negative-electrode active material; a negative-electrode active material uncoatd section which is not coated with the negative-electrode active material are formed on the negative-electrode current collector; and the negative-electrode active material uncoated section is covered with an insulating material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
