摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide connecting structure capable of strongly connecting a cylindrical shaft member and a yoke member to each other with serration and capable of reducing weight of the whole of a device by using the same lightened material. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical connecting member 3 is interposed between an end 1a of the cylindrical shaft member 1 and a cylindrical connection part 2a of the yoke member 2 of a propeller shaft to serration-connect them to each other. The cylindrical shaft member and the yoke member are formed from an aluminum alloy material, and the connecting member is formed from an iron group metal material having hardness higher than that of the aluminum alloy material, and serration parts 4 and 5 are formed in the inner peripheral surface and the outer peripheral surface of the connecting member along the axial direction. With this structure, each of the serration parts are inserted for fitting in the end of the cylindrical shaft member and the connection part of the yoke member, while galling by using a hardness difference, and the cylindrical shaft member and the yoke member are thereby strongly serration-connected to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
