PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunction operation unit capable of preventing an operation error by clearly displaying an operation content of the multifunction operation unit. SOLUTION: This multifunction operation unit has operation units 11 and 21 having operation shafts 15 and 24 projecting from operation unit main bodies 14 and 23 fixed to the fixing side 13 and capable of making an axial rotation and other operation actions; and knobs 12 and 22 secured to the operation shafts 15 and 24 for operating the operation units 11 and 21. The knobs 12 and 22 are provided with see-through parts 16 and 26 that can be seen through in directions along the operation shafts 15 and 24, respectively. Display plates 17 and 25 are disposed between the see-through parts 16 and 26 and the main bodies 14 and 23 and fixed to an audio apparatus main body 13. Accordingly, the display of the display plates 17 and 25 is fixed and can be seen through the see-through parts 16 and 26 of the knobs 12 and 22 without being rotated or tilted, whereby the display is easy to see, preventing an operation error.
